Pre-performance Opera Talks

Learn more about the operas you’ll see at informal talks that take place one hour before curtain at the Tulsa Performing Arts Center in the Westby Pavilion. Tulsa Opera Artistic Staff present a 40-minute program including recorded music excerpts about the story, the composer, and anecdotal information of each opera production. Pre-performance talks are free of cost to all ticket-holders.

Saturday evening pre-performance talks begin at 6:30 pm.
Friday evening pre-performance talks begin at 6:30 pm.
Sunday afternoon pre-performance talks begin at 1:30 pm.

Opera Insights

The Guild of Tulsa Opera continues this popular series of wine and cheese lectures led by local opera connoisseurs. Opera Insights are held at the Harwelden Mansion at 2210 S. Main St. This historic landmark is the perfect place to explore the stories, music and magic of opera. Opera Insights are FREE events that are held in the weeks before each Tulsa Opera production.
